BLIND LEADING THE BLIND

One thing that was good about being forced to sit down for a minute was I got a chance to study the Bible. Having said that, I hate when people who are Rev. or supposed to be theologians and bible scholars go somewhere and try to "teach" the Bible and don't know what they're talking about. They talk about something that's not there, they say something's not there that is. And people believe them because they're supposed to know what they're talking about. If you want to know the Truth or learn about the Bible, don't just take people's word for what it says. READ IT YOURSELF. And don't just read here and there, cause you'll take stuff out of context and misinterpret like these "teachers" do. Study it. I'm not saying I'm the smartest person in the world. Of course there are somethings I don't fully understand in the Bible. But somethings I know. They're obvious if you read it. And I'm not going to "teach" about the things I don't know about. It says if you want understanding and wisdom ask for it and God with give with all liberality. So pray and sit down and read. And if you can't read pray and listen to it on audio. I know you may not think you have the time...but we're not just talking about life or death here we're talking about eternity. If you don't think that's the most important thing in life right now you will in a short while. And like they say hindsight is 20/20. Even if you don't believe in all that...what if it's the Truth? Better to know than not.
